NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation) Office Manager to oversee daily transportation operations and administrative functions. Responsibilities include supervising drivers, managing trip scheduling and dispatch, ensuring regulatory compliance, processing billing, and maintaining high patient satisfaction
Daily Operations & Dispatch
- Manage dispatch software to schedule, assign, and monitor daily transportation routes.
- Coordinate communication between clients, medical facilities, and field drivers.
- Adjust routes in real-time to account for traffic, driver delays, or emergency schedule changes
Administrative & Financial Management
- Oversee office paperwork, client files, and billing/invoicing processes.
- Maintain records for vehicle maintenance, fuel cards, and equipment
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure the company adheres to local, state, and federal transport and healthcare regulations.
- Monitor driver certifications, licenses, and ensure routine drug/alcohol screenings are up-to-date.
- Handle incident reports, driver training, and field audits.
Customer Service
- Handle incoming calls from patients, hospitals, and clinics to book or alter trips.
- Resolve client complaints and maintain strict patient privacy (HIPAA).
Key Qualifications
- Experience: 2–4 years in NEMT operations, healthcare administration, or logistics management.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency with dispatch and scheduling software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Soft Skills: Strong crisis management, multitasking, and clear verbal communication under pressure.
